"When families are unable to fully support children, communities must step in as duty bearers."
Growing up in a rural community, our founder witnessed many children fall into harmful behaviors due to lack of guidance and limited parental involvement. Early exposure to negative influences led to school dropouts and risky life paths.
Through close guidance from family, it became clear that parental involvement and community responsibility are critical to a child's development. Education remains the most powerful pathway to delay vulnerability, build resilience, and enable children to achieve holistic development.

AYDI uses a community-centred and collaborative approach to address the challenges affecting young people and their communities. We listen to the people we serve, build on existing community strengths, and work with partners to develop practical, inclusive, and sustainable solutions.
